We personally source and choose manufacturers who are committed to creating a more sustainable world and have proper accreditation from recognized authorities. We have seen where the products have been made and we stand behind their authenticity!

Whilst all our products are eco-friendly, they also have to meet many other standards before we even consider offering them on our site, from safety to cost to usability. We regularly revisit and refine these standards, because we want to try harder to offer you and your family the best! Because new, eco friendly production methods are changing and developing all the time, it has become harder to apply one single standard to every item on our website, but all of them meet at least one of the following:

• Organic: Our organic products are grown and produced without the use of antibiotics, pesticides, growth hormones, herbicides, or GMOs.
• Recycled: Our recycled items are made with ingredients that have been extracted from another product for re-use.
• Recyclable: These contain a percentage of ingredients that may be extracted and re-used in a different product.
• Smart packaging: These products go the extra mile because even their packaging is recycled, recyclable, and non-toxic.
• Sustainable Production: Manufactured using methods and resources that do not cause long term harm to our natural resources, nor deplete or diminish the value of the environment for future generations.

Phoebe Yu, CEO and Founder

Phoebe Yu is the CEO and Founder of Ettitude. After gaining extensive experience in business and marketing, Phoebe launched ettitude in 2008 with the vision of making eco conscious living easy, affordable, and rewarding through a convenient online shopping environment. With a love of technology, the internet and sustainability, Phoebe constantly seeks new ways to use emerging technologies to solve real-world problems and provide better online shopping experiences. Phoebe’s work with ettitude has led her to become an expert in online marketing, and she has been interviewed by the industry website Mashable and presented at the 2012 Social Media Marketing Revolution conference. In her free time, Phoebe enjoys hiking, kayaking, playing boardgames and learning coding.

Marie Kwan, Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Marie is an experienced digital marketing consultant who has worked with a variety of brands to help them improve their online and social media presence. She is also the founder of Kibun Media, which specialises in providing remote digital marketing solutions for businesses. Marie’s work with Ettitude has led her to develop an increasing interest in the environment and she enjoys spending time outdoors, vegetarian cooking and travelling.
